springtime with the rep team
Scheduling sessions with the rep team is never a simple task. I always start our year with a plan, with every session having a date on the calendar. But, as is always the case as a photographer, one has to be flexible. Especially when it comes to the weather.
Our scheduled spring session rolled around and the skies were grey, the weather was cold, and there was nary a leaf on a tree or a flower that had bloomed.
So, instead of re-scheduling it, we brought the outside inside the studio and worked with a floral backdrop that screamed springtime.
Full disclosure: I was uncertain about how this session would go.
Additional full disclosure: so were some of my reps.
But in the end, we all agreed it turned out to be one of our favorite sessions we’ve done so far. The backdrop came to play and didn’t let us down.
Only a small portion of our team was available to stop by that day, but the ones who made it showed up big time!
I mean, seriously. They’re the cutest.
Tell me this backdrop doesn’t give off an Alice in Wonderland vibe. It feels a little like the Caterpillar should be in there somewhere. (“Whoooo…are…you?”) And maybe the Cheshire Cat.
Thanks to my team for showing up for our annual spring session. As always, it’s unpredictable weather-wise, but always successful and fun!
