A couple of weeks ago, Lauren and I headed out on a marathon senior session day that started in St. Louis and wrapped up in Godfrey at Lewis & Clark photographing Alton High School senior, Austin. It was a hot day but he was patient with the process and with his photographer.
We met Austin and his mom at Lewis and Clark and instantly had so many locations from which to choose for his session. With such a gorgeous campus, we didn’t have to travel far to get quite a few different looks for his photos.
This guy is a hard worker! He has a job that’s pretty labor intensive and has him working practically full time while still in high school. On top of that, he’ll be graduating early in December and beginning school at Lewis & Clark in January where he’ll begin studying to become an engineer. This man has a plan for his life and he’s setting out to see that he reaches his goals!
Is it weird that when Austin walked up in this outfit after a wardrobe change, the first thing I said was how this shirt made his blue eyes pop?? I hope not…although he looked at me like I was kind of crazy. His mom totally got me, though. There’s no denying it, they do!
Even though it was a super hot day, we had a great time hanging out with Austin and his mom who I could have sat and talked to all day long. I love the way these portraits turned out and can’t wait to meet with them again soon to see what products they want to order to display in their home!
