While out running some studio errands this morning, I decided to stop by one of my favorite local boutiques, My Sister’s Closet, and take a look at what they have to offer right now. I found so many things that would be great choices for my clients with sessions coming up this fall. Take a second to see what caught our eye!
This pumpkin colored piece is perfect for fall. It’s a zip up and is kind of a cape, kind of a jacket but it’s soft and cozy and would look great in front of a backdrop of fall colored leaves. This is neutral enough that it could be worn by a mom in their family session or even a senior. Pair it with jeans and cute boots and it’s good to go!
I can see this being a perfect choice for my seniors! Wear this with a longer flannel underneath, some dark wash jeans, chunky heeled booties, and the perfect earrings and you’ve got yourself a perfect fall look.
Another awesome choice for my seniors. It would look great on a mom, too, but for family portraits, the off the shoulder look may be a bit more of a challenge if you’re also wrestling little ones! But if you can handle it, go for it! We paired it with this awesome necklace that I’m pretty sure will end up in my closet. It’s gold but also kind of rose gold. I can see this on a senior with black jeans and boots for a slightly dressier but still comfortable look.
Want something a little more casual? I like this charcoal colored top with detail on the sleeves. I love that it’s a little longer in the back than it is in the front. This makes it stylish and more wearable. Perfect for a family session since there are so many colors to pull from when coordinating your family’s wardrobe.
I’ve bought several of these monogram necklaces to give as gifts…as possibly one for myself as well. It’s a great accent piece when you need a little something but don’t want anything too flashy. The length is a little short so I prefer to wear mine with an extender, but it’s a great everyday piece!
I enjoyed my trip to My Sister’s Closet this morning. Stop by and see what they have in stock if you’re wardrobe planning for an upcoming session. Stay tuned to the blog to see as we visit more boutiques in the area. Do you have a suggestion on places we should visit? Leave me a comment and let me know!
